8 Day Farm Stay Retreat in British Columbia
This is not your typical retreat experience!
This summer, get in touch with nature and yourself with a unique retreat experience on a lavender farm.
June 23 - July 1, 2026
This restorative farm-stay yoga retreat is on remote Cortes Island in British Columbia, Canada—where the sea, lavender fields, and forest meet. This retreat combines mindful movement, seasonal, locally sourced food, forest bathing and purposeful engagement with the land. Each day begins with gentle morning yoga with Sunee LaClaire overlooking the lavender fields, followed by garden work, lavender harvesting, forest bathing, or guided foraging. Meals are locavore-focused under the guidance of Annie Hauck: breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared with help from the participants from produce harvested on-site or sourced from nearby growers and fishers, highlighting the island’s fresh, sustainable bounty. Evenings invite slow conversation, star-filled walks, or silent meditation in a moonlit studio. Accommodations are cozy, rustic-chic geodesic domes with simple comforts and private or shared options. This retreat is designed for people who want to deepen their yoga practice, eat consciously, and reconnect with nature in a small-community setting.

To keep costs low, we are offering a cooperative experience where we will all work together to produce delicious meals with local produce and under the guidance of our nutrition expert, Annie Hauck. In addition, we will be working on the property each day helping with weeding, planting, harvesting, clearing, etc. In addition, we will have time for excursions such as gathering oysters & clams, forest bathing, visiting a local spa, beach combing, and stargazing.

Each day will start with a morning movement and meditation session followed by breakfast. Then we will work on the property; planting, weeding, harvesting, etc. We’ll break for lunch and then have some rest time in the afternoon. We’ll work together in groups to create a delicious family style dinner and then enjoy an evening activity such as star gazing at a campfire, game night, yoga nidra, wine tasting, etc.
Some days we will also venture off the property on field trips for gathering oysters, hiking, and visiting a local spa.
