At YogaSole, we try to do things a little bit differently. Our community class program serves several purposes. Community Classes are our solution to our promise of economic inclusion. The sliding scale allows you to pay what you think you can afford for the class as a drop in rate. All of our class pack purchases and memberships also cover Community Classes. The program is also our mentorship program, where we help recently certified teachers gain experience and confidence in teaching real students as they learn our empowered approach to yoga and fitness that is at the heart of our mission.

We are a community of travelers so we are always planning our next trip. If you are interested in going on a retreat with us, check out this page.

No. But if you want to join us for an outdoor session in the summer, mother nature might be willing to provide the heat.

We offer classes in a variety of outdoor locations in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. The directions to our spot in Prospect or Sunset park are emailed to registered participants and include Google Map pin. In addition, we also work with Community Gardens. We clearly state the name of the garden in the title of the event.

In general we cancel outdoor classes when the weather is uncooperative. We send out an email and text message at least 1 hour before but sometimes we’ll decide to call it the day before. Make sure your notifications are turned on so you can get the announcement.

We usually open up recruitment 2 times a year. If you are interested in working with us, please read this page and send your resume to info@YogaSole.com

At YogaSole, we offer classes that empower you to stand taller, feel stronger, and connect more deeply with yourself and others. Each of our classes have one of three main goals and are generally labeled as such; Strengthen, Stretch, or Relax. In addition, they are also labeled with how that goal will be achieved; Flow, Fusion, or Blend. We don’t have one particular philosophy that we follow. Instead, we blend teachings from multiple lineages to allow us to honor the ancient roots of yoga and our students’ individual journeys.

We highly recommend the Wellness Living Achieve app to explore, book, and cancel classes. When you click on a session in the app, scroll down to see the class description. Not into the app? Find our schedule at YogaSole.com/schedule and click on the class link to read the description.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. You are welcome to bring your mat with you but if you don’t have one, we rent them for $2 per session. For your first visit to the studio, we will gift you the mat rental.

For classes - Early Cancellation: At least one hour before class starts. The class credit will be returned to your account to be used at a future date. Late Cancellation: Less than one hour before class starts. The class credit will not be returned. No Show: Treated the same as a late cancellation.
For events - Events may have individual cancellation policies that are stated at the sign up process. The general cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to the workshop or event. No refund requests will be honored after that time.
Please Note: The YogaSole cancellation policy only applies to classes that were booked directly through YogaSole in the Wellness Living software. Classes booked through 3rd party booking sites are subject to the cancellation policy of the individual booking platform, not those of YogaSole.

We do not allow late entry so please arrive 10 mins early so that you have time to get settled before class begins. Once class starts and the door is closed and locked, no late entry will be permitted. There are no exceptions and no shows are treated in the same manner as late cancellations. We pay homage to the yogic principle of Asteya by honoring everyone’s time. We do our best to start and end all classes on time.
-
Sometimes things don’t work out as planned, we get that. If you change your mind after purchasing a retail item, we are only able to offer exchange or store credit. If we cancel, we will offer you credit for classes or events and we will issue refunds to the original form of payment for larger events or retreats. We will not honor refund requests for events if they are canceled late.
