This workshop will teach “informed asana”—bringing together principles of Asana (yoga’s physical practice) and yoga’s philosophy of social justice. Expect to gain understanding of important themes in yoga philosophy, and how to embody those principles through postural, meditation, and breath based practices. Open to all students interested in deepening their knowledge of yoga. Expect Downward Facing Dog, standing poses and backbends, and transitions up and down from the floor.
