This is a four part series diving deeply into the anatomy, alignment, and energetic knowledge vital to a healthy, strong, life long Asana practice, and how to integrate the understanding of that information into a seamless movement practice (Vinyasa flow) Every week will have a different anatomical and energetic focus, and will be divided into two parts. The first half of class will be structured as a workshop, lecture, and exploration of that weeks particular target- gaining a deeper understanding of the where and how and why of the physical body part, how it relates to alignment in yoga asana poses, and how it manifests energetically and emotionally. The second half of class will be an hour long vinyasa class, assimilating the ideas that were broken down in the first half into movement, so that you get the chance to experience the information inside you're own body through flow and breath.
* Week three: psoas and hips (storing emotions and letting go) re-scheduled for Saturday, January 30th.
* Week four: abdominals and hamstrings: (vulnerability and strength) re-scheduled for Saturday February 6th, 2016

This workshop is a combination of these two aspects of her practice, going detailed and nerdy with the body, so that the intelligence provides the structure to move with ease, joy and breath.
