“When one tugs at a single thing in Nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the World.” ~adaptation from John Muir
Hello to all our friends in Brooklyn,
We want to thank all of you for supporting the White Hawk Foundation and for your continuing interest. We are enjoying the art work that we purchased at the Fundraiser and it has been incredible to be able to share the concept with our other guests at Luna Lodge.

It has been great to reconnect with those of you that have visited Luna Lodge this year. The relationship between Brooklyn, the White Hawk and Luna Lodge is something very special indeed.
The Mission statement of the White Hawk Foundation is: “ To protect and preserve all Forested Lands and the Biodiversity on the Osa Peninsula.”
The most important mini goal at this time is to purchase and save a property that borders the Corcovado National Park. It is over 247 acres and we need $450,000 to protect this property. The Fundraiser in Brooklyn helped us secure this contract for this property.
This land is part of a very important Biological Corridor that is located in Carate bordering Corcovado National Park. We need over 2.5 million dollars to accomplish buying all the parcels. We have raised over $200,000 with donations from friends, family and clients. This has allowed us to purchase 148 acres of almost all primary rain forest. Maps
We would like to thank you all again for all of your support, energy and time with this Foundation. We would love to have any of you with us here at the Luna!
Tonight we are going to watch the Full Moon here at the Luna and I hope that you all can go out and smell the flowers in Prospect Park!!
