What is this place and why have you brought me here?
Welcome, please have a seat. Here you will find my observations regarding practice and life (or, my practice and my life). Practice, meaning the practice of mindfulness as taught by Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh; life, meaning what happens on and off the cushion, and everywhere in between.

A proud resident of Windsor Terrace, saxophonist, multi-reedist and composer just released his third album of his critically-acclaimed Words Project series, which combines poems and text with carefully-crafted musical settings. All About Jazz has called his work "complex and deeply effecting" and Time Out New York chose his first release as one of the top ten CD's of 2007. He can be seen internationally and appears on over twenty CD's as a sideman. He also runs a teaching studio in the neighborhood, which offers private lessons for all ages on saxophone, flute, and clarinet.
